Ryo's body emerged in liquid warmth. The water had begun to ripple as the simmering steam began to form a layer of fog. He looked outward watching the steam rise out of the open window. It was silent and relaxing. No form of drama,no form of conflict between humans. Just simple joviality provided with the comfort of hospitality. His eyes were fixed upon a scroll that had various symbols upon it. It was a story about a boy who looked knew everything that happened. It was quite amusing. His anatomy collapsed into a state of rest to tired to get up the shade fell over his eyes and he continued to rest for a little.

A light haired young woman made her way into the royal capital, riding upon a horse she had borrowed from a farmer a few days ago. As she walked the horse in. She could feel the heaviness that was in the air, one she has felt ever since she was a child. Her mother had told her the story about the Emperor and the deal he had made with a witch for immortality, back then she always thought of it as nothing more than a bedtime story. But since she is much older now, Mizu could only scoff and think of what a fool that Emperor must have been. Of course immortality comes with a price, nothing is ever free in this time they live in. Her eyes glanced around at the people who seemed to say nothing as she passed them. Only a few mere whispers here and there, then continued on with their business. Fear. Yes she could see it in their eyes, with all the wars waging and all the demons and other creatures roaming. These people had a right to be afraid of a stranger.
Stopping the horse at a place called the Dragon's breath, Mizu dismounted and tied her horse up. She would rest here and head out in the morning to a nearby village which was being plagued by some lesser demons. These attacks would probably never end, and she knew that more powerful clans of demons, kitsunes and others had hidden villages somewhere high in the mountains or around the forests which no human could find. And even if a human did find those villages, they would die instantly. Walking inside she went to find the owner of the establishment, but to no avail. Where the hell was he, or she. Mizu never really payed attention to who ran a inn or place to eat. "If there is anyone who owns this place, get out here now. I am not patient and will le....." Before she could finish a older woman came to greet her.
Mizu paid for the night, and for some sake to be brought to her room as well as some food. Walking down a hall and to the right, following the older woman. She bowed her head slightly in thanks before entering her room. Closing the door, Mizu took her weapons off and put them aside, as well as an outer layer of clothing setting those aside. Before her father had died, he had taught her to brandish a sword and grew up as a warrior. Most of her friends laughed at her, but she proved to them she could fight just as well as any man could. She then wondered if there was anyone else staying here, not that she cared much. [/size]

A young 'lady' entered into the homely little inn. This would be where she would stop for the night. Jingling a small satchel of money, 'she' seemed to be looking around, taking in the people and the environment. 'She' chuckled, admiring the people, winking and flirting as 'she' went to greet the owner. 'She' smiled, placing a few coin down before requesting a room for the night. 'She' felt the need for a nice bed and a nice bath. Sure, some of the patrons 'she' had nights before had given 'her' that but tonight was just a night needed for a little R&R and maybe some alone time...although there was always room in the bed for a little hot company. At being given the nod and the okay for the night's stay, 'she' made her way upstairs before entering her place to stay for the night.
For a moment, the 'girl' spent time clearing her throat before sighing, placing a pack down in the area near the bed. 'She' also placed a set of darts, 4 fans and 2 sai onto the bed as well. "These last few days have been long... and so tedious. I can barely feel my feet. And the men the last few days... Awful... Just awful... Kuso..." 'She' began to undo 'her' kimono, opening 'herself' up to the loneliness. 'She' was, at the end of the day, still just a boy. He sighed for a moment, undoing his hair out of a clip he stole from a lady earlier that day before his performance, allowing his red hair to fall freely around his face and down his back. He sighed again, putting himself back into the kimono soon after, fixing himself up to go back to being "Yuki" again. He reached back, grabbing one of the bladed fans and tucking it away and one of the iron fans, which he just held as a normal fan, as well as the shuriken darts, which he also tucked into an area in the inner layer of his kimono. "Well... This is as good as it's going to get." He told himself, moving his fingers through his long red hair before going to the door, sighing, and opening it again, heading downstairs to the bar/food area.
Coming down, he went back to scoping around, giggling happily at the crowd of jovial people just having a time, whether they were eating or having some sake. He went over, smiling. "Sake wo kudasai! Hee Hee. Konban wa minna-san!" (Sake please. Hee Hee, Good Evening Everyone!) he said quietly, more greeting the people around him before laughing at the crowd and company that surrounded him. He fussed with his hair, keeping his eye out for anyone interesting that might catch his fancy or attention while trying to garner the attention of someone as well. He batted his red eyes, smiling and keeping things light and easy.

The young man ejected himself from the water container feeling antiseptic and refreshed. The air, and the world around him felt so polar. His anatomy held erect as he stood in his ivory fundoshi as he used a towel to dry himself off. After re-robbing himself in his attire. His ebony locks continued to tumble past his shoulders, as he began to ambulate. Ryo could hear the audio melody of crickets chirping in the night. To his left he could see a senora with light blue locks. She seemed very confident in herself to the point she thundered her demand. It made Ryo draw closer only enough to bow towards the woman and spoke.
"Good evening"
He said, as he flashed a quick smile, and moved away too take up residence at an empty table where people seemed to be a lot more cheerful than the ones outside. The young blue haired vixen followed the elderly woman upstairs. Ryo pondered would he ever see her again. Soon after another woman with scarlet hair made her presence knows by greeting the entire realm. Ryo smiled and yelled good evening with the other occupants in the room. She appeared very alluring to the eyes of many men as she was a sight.
A young girl who couldn't be any older than 14 - 16 approached him and asked him for his order.
"Hello Mister, what can I get for you?"
She asked, and he replied
"Hello, Madam, I'd like to order nine dumplings, rice with snow peas and carrots with shrimp covered in duck sauce, three kinds of pork, cooked as roasted, fried and grilled. I'd like the red bean paste to go with it. For the final piece I'd like a lettuce wrap, and some type of soup please. Oh wait I almost forgot my drinks. A small bottle of sake, and a picture of peach flavored white tea "
She bowed, and vanished, as he sat alone and cheerful waiting for his provisions to be brought to him. His finger tips, had drummed against the wooden table, as his solar plexus roared for an offering.

(I didn't know if you wanted me to wait or not but gonna get this out of the way)
Xavi just smiled, listening to greetings and politely greeting those individuals back as his sake was slid over to him. He glanced at the young man who had just come down and smiled politely, eyeing him for a bit before his eyes wandered to the other men around him. He even let out a chuckle at the sound of the massive order he heard the man order, about to comment but deciding not to. There were pretty/unpretty men around him after all. He smiled, about to pour some himself when a gentleman on his side grabbed the tokuri and poured her sake for him before smiling again. He gave a polite bow. "Arigato." He murmured politely before beginning to sip the rice wine. She sat for a while, sipping at the wine, enjoying it. When he would run out, another person would pour until the wine was exhausted. By then though, the young man was clearly drunk but still able to keep his womanly composure. He had done this many times before and almost always came out with his secret intact. The few times he didn't costed him a bit of coin and a few "favors" to get the men to keep their mouths shut.
After the liquor had been exhausted, the young man started to realize that he was being accosted for favors and services. He wasn't a "man of leisure" or "that kind of woman" and he wasn't in the mood for shenanigans. She politely turned many of them down but there were those select few morons who were still belligerent. She politely excused herself, thinking about walking upstairs before turning and going outside instead. A few of the drunk men accosting him proceeded to follow him out.
Outside, he walked for a few moments before stopping again. "Is there something I can help you with? Are you little Inus (dogs) lost? Or are you just stupid? Iie Iie Desu... Hai janaidesu. Baka desu ka?" (No means no. It is not yes. Are you idiots?) This seemed to be the wrong thing to say because the three men just glanced, taking in her words before moving in to "change her mind". Screaming was not an option for him. Screaming meant weakness... Screaming meant lack of strength and screaming meant that he "needed" a man to take care of his battles. He drew his fans, pulling the second from his obi, and beginning to swing, hoping to just beat them senseless with the ironlaid fans before the blades of the one had to come out and deal with them his way. He could take care of himself, after all and he was doing an okay job but there were still 3 of them against one very small guy so this already seemed unfair.

A soft cheerful tune could be heard playing from the restaurant area. The artist was a duo, a young boy, and young girl who appeared to be no more than twelve years old a piece. The melody was lovely, but it was not something that Ryo was able to endure. He felt something, and noticed three men stumbling upon their way legs outside of the estate of leisure, and joviality. What they wanted one could only guess. What they were willing to do one could only guess, but Ryo's provisions weren't yet delivered so, he had time to calculate the situation, and understand what was going on.
Placing his hand upon his cup as he sipped upon his tea the former solider listen to the utterance of the woman. Ryo's senses were very strong, and he heard every firm spoken word slip from her lips. Moving with haste, Ryo pushed a side from the three men, calling out to the women with a farce of some type.
"Hey, Sis! Where are you going it's time to eat!. You're not smoking again are you?"
he said with a grim look on his face. His left palm reached outward towards the vixen, hoping she would take his paw. A non violent solution was what he was opting for. Hoping for the best of the of a bad situation, Ryo waited.

Xavi just continued to deal with the three men, batting them off as best he could with his fans. He was indifferent to hurting them but this wasn't the red light district so he believed that it would be frowned upon if he killed someone right here, right now.
The scuffle continued for a bit until Xav saw a familiar man push his way into the fight. His eyes widened as he heard the man refer to him as "Sis." He knew he wasn't but he shrugged anyway. Anything to try and not kill people today. "Nii-San! Well, I was coming out to smoke but I forgot my pipe. A shame really..." She replied, batting one of the guys with her fan again as she reached for the man. He was soon pulled back though. "Where are you going?" "Well, nii-san says that there's food... since I don't have my pipe, might as well go in and eat." He moved his other hand down and unfurled the fan, shanking the guy with the blades that came out before reaching and grabbing for the man again. "She stabbed me!" "Well that wasn't very nice..." One of them checked on their friend while the third went for the two. Xav moved the now unfurled and bladed fan up and at the ready. "You don't want to end up like your friend, do you?" He asked before glancing back the man, smirking and nodding. He was pretty attractive and he did come to save his life... Maybe, just maybe he could take this one home with him tonight.
